Wyndham Garden Kassel: 300.000 Euro investment in renovations

Kassel, September 2016. Just lately, the GCH Hotel Group made a 300.000 Euro investment in the Wyndham Garden Kassel hotel and therefore makes a clear commitment towards the North-Hesse city. „The Wyndham Garden Kassel is now prepared for the guests visiting the 14th documenta next year. We are conviced that Kassel is a strong destination for business as well as tourism“, says Bart Beerkens, Vice President Commercial, GCH Hotel Group. „A modern and attractive hotel landscape asks for hotels of different categories and style: Also in the future, our Wyndham Garden Kassel hotel will contribute to the four-star hotel segment. With the investment, we were able to upgrade the hotel and strengthen its position on the local market.“ The GCH Hotel Group currently manages four hotels in Kassel: Tryp by Wyndham Kassel City Centre, Days Inn Kassel Hessenland, ibis Kassel Melsungen and Wyndham Garden Kassel.

Within the scope of the renovation works, 48 of the hotel's 142 rooms were refurbished, as well as one of the ten conference rooms, parts of the restaurant, the bar and the lobby. A successful project for Eberhard Haist, who took over the hotel management in July 2016: „We are happy to welcome our guests in many rooms with a completely new look and to present modern accents in the gastronomy, conference and lobby area.“
