Anthony Pierards becomes new General Manager at the TRYP by Wyndham Antwerp

Antwerp, May 2017. The TRYP by Wyndham Antwerp has a new General Manager: starting immediately, the 176-room design hotel near the railway station in the trendy, art nouveau area of Zurenborg is being headed up by Anthony Pierards (30). The trained hotel and hospitality manger (Hotel and Tourism School V.T.I.V.T Ter Hercke in Herk-de-Stad) is coming from the Campanile Hotel Gent, where he has held the same position since the beginning of 2016. He will be in charge of a team of 13 employees in his new role. Pierards began his professional career in 2005 at the Accor hotel group, first as a receptionist at the Novotel Leuven, then as shift leader at the Sofitel Brussels Airport and Novotel Mechelen, and later as industrial accountant at the Novotel Brussels Airport. In 2010, he switched to the Leonardo Hotel Antwerpen, where he worked as front office manager and later operations manager. During this time, he completed a two-year management training programme at the Leonardo Academy.
