Savoury dishes, snacks and beverages are served in the hotel's in-house restaurant and in the bar: The hotel restaurant seats 60 and has an adjoining garden terrace. Guests are invited to help themselves to the breakfast buffet here in the mornings
from early 4.00 a.m. until 12 p.m.; the evening menu comprises a variety of seasonal and regional delicacies. Snacks and hot and cold beverages are available from the bar 24/7.
Conference and seminar facilities
Three function rooms, each measuring 90 square metres, can be booked for meetings, seminars, presentations or small-scale events. A total of up to 120 guests, 40 per room, can be catered for at any one function.
The rooms are situated on the ground floor and have daylight and air conditioning. Event organisers are also welcome to use the modern conference equipment and free WiFi access available on the premises.
Fast transport links to the city centre
Dortmund is one of the leading service and technology locations in Germany, and in particular in the Ruhr area. The ibis Hotel Dortmund West is conveniently situated in the Oespel district of Dortmund, which has good transport links to the A1 and A46 motorways.
Dortmund-Oespel railway station is within ten minutes' walking distance. The mainline railway station and city centre can be reached by public transport in 25 minutes. Dortmund Airport (DTM) is 20 kilometres from the hotel.
Science, trade fairs and sightseeing
Events, science and culture attract countless visitors to Dortmund every year: The famous Westfalenhalle, which serves as a venue for trade fairs, congresses, concerts and world championship events, is a seven-minute drive from the hotel.
Other nearby places of interest are the Dortmund Technology Park and the Signal Iduna Park, which is the home stadium of the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. The Dortmunder U and the Church of Reinoldi in the city centre are within a ten-kilometre radius.
