Our mission
Partner
German Handball Federation
The GCH Hotel Group has been the official hotel partner of the German Handball Federation since January 2020. The players benefit from the cooperation by staying in hotels managed by the GCH Hotel Group throughout Germany.
‘The feel-good factor of our national team players in the hotels is an important component for optimal preparation for the international matches during training programmes, whether in terms of sport or regeneration. In addition, we will be able to utilise the hotel opportunities gained through this cooperation very well for our committee work and at international events,’ says Mark Schober, CEO of the German Handball Federation.
The GCH Hotel Group is thus promoting handball in Germany and can continue to raise its profile.
Handball Füchse Berlin
Since September 2021, the GCH Hotel Group has another sporting partner: the Füchse Berlin handball team. By joining the Füchse family, the GCH Hotel Group will be hosting the Füchse teams at away games and will also be present at home games in the Max-Schmeling-Halle.
Füchse Managing Director Bob Hanning: ‘I am delighted to welcome such a company to the Füchse family. The fact that we can now also feel at home on away trips is an important step in our development.’
The reasons for the now long-standing successful partnership are in particular the shared values that are practised both in the hotel industry at the GCH Hotel Group and on the handball pitch: Courage, flexibility, trust or teamwork.
Taxi.eu – The taxi app for Europe
The taxi.eu app makes it easy to order a taxi around the clock. With 155 centres and 65,000 drivers in 100+ cities, it has been offering German customers a reliable service since 2011. Over 2,000 trained call centre employees guarantee high quality.
The GCH Hotel Group has been cooperating since 2017 to offer hotel guests professional taxi services throughout Germany.
DZT - Deutsche Zentrale für Tourismus
The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) has been promoting Germany as a travel destination abroad on behalf of the German government for over 60 years.
The GCH Hotel Group has been working with the GNTB since 2011. The partnership includes joint marketing and sales campaigns as well as promotions and participation in key tourism trade fairs around the world.
Malteser relief service
Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V. is an organisation that helps those in need and provides aid to more than 12 million people worldwide every year.
Since 2012, the GCH Hotel Group has been committed to Malteser social projects by organising regular fundraising campaigns.
The donations collected benefit projects such as the school ambulance service.
Aktion Mensch
Aktion Mensch is committed to a barrier-free society in which diversity is a matter of course. The focus is on a self-determined life for people with disabilities and equal opportunities for children and young people. Aktion Mensch sells raffle tickets to fund its ideas.
The GCH Hotel Group uses the Aktion Mensch raffle tickets as employee gifts that do good.
