Experience history above and below ground

Schlossplatz has much to offer - above ground as well as below: Saarbrücken Castle, built in baroque style, houses the historic Saar Museum in an annex and a vaulted cellar located directly underneath.

Exhibiting works of arts and everyday objects, the museum tells the recent story of the history of the Saarland. The "castle wall" offers a view across the entire city.
