Following footsteps in the city of writers and thinkers

The most important stations of the the day-to-day lives, love-lives and sufferings of the most famous German poets, such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe or Friedrich

Hebbel can be tracked in city tours. The Bauhaus Museum, with around 250 exhibits from the history of the word-famous school of arts is must-see for design and architecture enthusiasts. Weimar City Palace today houses a museum (the Palace Museum) and is home to the former Grand Ducal art collection.
