Explore the Black Forest
The Hotel Wyndham Garden Donaueschingen is located at the eastern part of the Black Forest, not far from the Bodensee and Freiburg im Breisgau. Thanks to Donaueschingen being a very important regional train hub, the hotel can be reached by train. Stuttgart Airport is approximately 1 hour away, Zurich Airport only 50 minutes.
The motorway A81 (Würzburg - Stuttgart) is not far from Donaueschingen. Your car is safe in the hotel-owned parking garage. The famous Danube Biking Trail, one of the longest in Europe, starts in Donaueschingen and goes all the way the to Budapest, mostly alongside the river.
Art Nouveau, horses and cultural experiences
There are many options for hiking, biking, horse riding, nordic walking and cross-country skiing close to the hotel. The famous Danube Biking Trail starts in Donaueschingen and the second biggest horse riding tournament in Germany, called CHI, takes place there, too. More cultural highlights are the Jazz Festival in
