Explore the Black Forest

The Hotel Wyndham Garden Donaueschingen is located at the eastern part of the Black Forest, not far from the Bodensee and Freiburg im Breisgau. Thanks to Donaueschingen being a very important regional train hub, the hotel can be reached by train. Stuttgart Airport is approximately 1 hour away, Zurich Airport only 50 minutes.

Art Nouveau, horses and cultural experiences

There are many options for hiking, biking, horse riding, nordic walking and cross-country skiing close to the hotel. The famous Danube Biking Trail starts in Donaueschingen and the second biggest horse riding tournament in Germany, called CHI, takes place there, too. More cultural highlights are the Jazz Festival in

August and the Music Days in October. Donaueschingen has many beautiful Art Nouveau buildings and a magnificent palace garden. Trips to the Bodensee region, Triberg waterfalls and the sunniest city in Germany, Freiburg im Breisgau, are always worthwhile.
